I use this code (http://community.livejournal.com/s2flexisquares/186834.html?thread=1829074#t1829074) from s2flexisquares. It's pretty awesome because you can have as many or as few headers as you want! That will only work for Flexible Squares though, and it looks like you have a different layout.
There is another tutorial (which should work for any layout) here (http://babytest.livejournal.com/9923.html). I haven't used it though, so I can't be much help. Good luck! :)

The tutorial that I used doesn't use PHP, but I'm not sure about the other one. If you want to use a flexible squares layout, I'll happily send you the layer that I use for my layout, and you might be able to use that as a base or something.
