"David Hewlett, how are you so awesome?" Icons

To celebrate "David Hewlett is awesome week" [TM [personal profile] scrunchy - devised by [livejournal.com profile] slodwick - here ] , I've made some "David Hewlett, how are you so awesome?" icons! As some of you probably know, that's a quote by Martin Gero - and I just think its brilliant! I also put alternative text on the same icons --- if someone wants some different text on any of them, let me know! So anyway, here are the icons! Comments and credit are greatly appreciated! :)

Heehee! Your friend actually sounds like me! A friend took YEARS of convincing to make me watch Stargate too! I was convinced that Richard Dean Anderson was MacGyver and no one else!! Of course, (after about 7 years of pestering) when I finally agreed to watch SG1, I loved it!!

Its actually pretty good getting hooked on a show later, cos you can sit down with the dvds and watch heaps of episodes rather than having to wait for new ones every week! Its particularly good because you don't have to wait ages to find out what happens when they finish with a cliffhanger - you can just immediately watch the next dvd! (I can't wait till July to find out what happens in SG1 and SGA!!)

I know what you mean

I used to laugh at the sheer geekiness of my brother everytime he had to be home for SG1, then he put on Mobius, and convinced me it was worth watching because 'it's got Treed Murray in this episode'. and being two parts I had to watch both, and its funny and shippery, so I liked it enough to brave the ep with Adam Baldwin (and after those 2, I was enamoured enough to watch season 3 in syndication, and that led to shelling out entirely too much money to get all 8 seasons on dvd)

I have them all on DVD too - I find it best not to think about how much money I've spent on my excessive DVD collection! :)

Treed Murray was very entertaining! And... Adam Baldwin was in SG1!?!? *checks IMDB* Oh my god! He was in Heroes! I hadn't realised that was him! Thanks for the reminder - I'll have to rewatch those eps now! :)
