I generally agree with you about Weir. I have read a couple of fics where she was well written and I didn't hate her, but usually I just really dislike her.

As for Kav... I have come to the conclusion that my dislike of him is unfounded... Can you recommend a fic where he's less of a complete tool?? I'm willing to give him a chance! :D

Normally the first one I'd start with would be "Casting Stones" by liketheriver on fanfiction.net, but for some reason the link doesn't want to open right now. I'll try again later, or you could search for it.

This is a lovely McKay/Sheppard friendship/preslash piece, so you should like it just for that aspect *g* but it's told from Kav POV and it's written really well. I think it helps explain a lot of why he acts like he does.

The link to Casting Stones worked for me. I haven't read it yet, but I have a slow day planned for work tomorrow, so I will read a couple of them then!

That one sounds like a good start --- especially since the McKay/Sheppard will keep me interested! :D
