SPAM!!

I found this on a few other journals - I find it incredibly funny for some reason, so I just had to post it here, just to see how many I'll get!!

Give me 1000 comments in this entry. Or whatever, really. YOU, in particular, don't have to supply the whole 1000, but a tiny contribution would be nice.

This is your chance to spam me with anything. Then post this in your journal and I'll return the favour.

EDIT: 196 comments! 323 comments now!! You guys rock! I love my friendslist *group hugs*

Thanks! You are my music sharing god! Once I get my pretty webspace I'll be able to share some stuff that you might like too! There is a song that I really want you to list to. I would really like to know your opinion on it. No details now, because I don't want to cloud your decision --- I want an unbiased opinion. :)

here (http://www.wecannameitlater.com/UnknownTitle.mp3) (right click & save) is the song that I was telling you about. It's actually my brother sining and playing --- I think that it's brilliant, but I obviously have a bias there, so I'd love an outsiders opinion. He would probably be annoyed at me if he knew that I was sharing it, so please don't share it with anyone else! Thanks!

first time listen, i liked the voice, liked the guitars, figured it's nice, definite talent, but nothing catches me personally (no "fizz", BTDT) and the lyrics are sort of meh. i also thought that a lot of stuff that isn't this good gets record deals and props. 4th listen now, liking it more and more with each listen. in fact, will probably put it on one of my work mixes (don't worry, not the stuff i post, the stuff i listen to on the bus). anyhow, got more stuff?

Yeah, I definitely think that his music is a lot better than some of the stuff that gets released. My brother has never really been interested in trying to get a record deal though --- he just plays because he likes it, and he thinks most musicians basically sell out --- he'd prefer to just enjoy playing his own stuff, without anyone else ever hearing, than to be forced to play crap by some stupid record company.

He played in a band for a while, and they got some radio play on a local station, and played at some local venues, but they never really tried to make more of it than that. I think he's talented though! :)

here is another one (http://www.wecannameitlater.com/01Track01.mp3)

oh, he's definitely talented. i listen to a lot of stuff, i can tell. needs work and polish etc, but he's already better than a lot of what's out there. will listen to this one as well, thanks!
