Another one of those random posts

+ I've been quite absent from LJ lately. It's a lack of time rather than a lack of love. I do still try to comment when I can, but that's not nearly as often as I'd like. I still love you all though!

+ I also love public holidays, days off work, my Wii Fit, sexy pictures of Callum Keith Rennie, sexy pictures of David Hewlett, and cheesy young adult fiction.

+ Speaking of which, has anyone read Richelle Mead's Vampire Academy series? I recently finished the second book, and I'm a little bit in love with them. The writing isn't particularly great; it feels a bit like reading the diary of teenage girl, but they're incredibly addictive and entertaining.

+ In not so good news, my doggie has to have surgery next week (on the 24th). :( She's had lots of trouble with her dewclaws, so she's getting them removed. Apparently it's a very simple procedure, but I still worry about my sweet Gracey. I hope it all goes well.

OH MY GOD, I hadn't seen that pic of David before! Is that new?! I... I just... I... need a cigarette and I don't even smoke! God that man is sexy.

On another note, I hope Gracey's surgery goes well! I totally understand what its like to worry about your pets. They're like our children, hey? /hugs

OK, here's get well wishes from a veterinarian! And I can honestly say that the procedure *is* a straightforward one. The only thing I worry about with my patients that have this done is whether they *chew* on the sutures after the surgery. Of course, a lampshade on the head (an E-collar) takes care of that, but truthfully, it's considered a minor procedure. So take care......she'll be gobbling food and driving you crazy in no time.

i just finished 3 of the vampire academy series.
it's simple, but nice. life's too hard, something comforting is good.
port kmart has #3 for $10 if you don't have it.
