I currently have a couple of filters that I seldom use. I'm thinking about using them more regularly. Of course, it's likely that I'll never get around to this, but, assuming I do, what are you interested in seeing/reading?

In other news, I'm really really ANGRY!! I just turned on my laptop, and my battery seems to have died. It has "experienced a permanent failure and needs to be replaced". The little fucker is only three days out of its warranty! 3 fucking days! That is just... mean. I bet they design them to die just after the warranty ends. I'm still planning on calling and abusing them tomorrow. Bastards!
It's especially frustrating since I've been damaging my credit card in the last couple of days, and so buying a new one is the last thing I want to do... Yesterday I bought a new fragrance (which smells like happiness, sunshine and rainbows!), a new suit (which has the cutest skirt) and 3 dvds.
Today I had my car serviced (Goodbye $200), I bought 2 cds, and took my parents out for dinner. Plus, in the next few days I have to pay a water bill, telephone bill and credit card bill. *sigh* Maybe my laptop battery dying is just life's way of getting back at me for spending too much on unnecessary stuff.

Date: 2007-09-19 12:01 pm (UTC)Fumbles McStupid had a complete breakdown just after the warranty ended and I had to send it in to get fixed. I kicked up so much fuss about it, though, that they didn't charge me. Kick up fuss! It makes things better :D
OMG All that money spent! I'm glad I don't have a credit card otherwise mine would be permanantly dented :/

Date: 2007-09-20 12:30 am (UTC)I'm usually pretty good with my credit card, but I just needed some retail therapy! :)

Date: 2007-09-19 03:09 pm (UTC)As for the purchases they sound like they are vital and essential to your life so don't feel too bad about them.
When dealing with the computer/battery people I've found that kicking up a fuss (but in a friendly manner) can get you very far. If being friendly fails then just a fuss should work.
Hope it works out!

Date: 2007-09-20 12:35 am (UTC)And yes, the purchases were all wonderful things!!

Date: 2007-09-19 07:18 pm (UTC)You ever notice how when you actually have available money, you never seem to "need" stuff, but once you don't really have it at hand... then everything starts to pile up? I know that's how it is for me. My husband is on call for work 3 weekends out of the month and the ONE weekend he's off is always a week he ISN'T paid, so we never have money to do anything even though he's off work. Ahhh, life is fun isn't it?

Date: 2007-09-20 12:39 am (UTC)And yes, I completely agree with you about stuff piling up just when you don't want it to.

Date: 2007-09-20 12:45 am (UTC)Random question... Do you read Joe Mallozzi's blog?
I just read the funniest question about Joe Flanigan.

Date: 2007-09-20 07:41 am (UTC)No, I don't read his blog --- I like to look at the pictures he posts, but I've never really sat down and read it properly.
What was the question?

Date: 2007-09-20 07:48 am (UTC)ANYWAY, today someone asked:
Emily writes: “Will the fact that Sheppard obviously has an Elf gene ever come in to play this season?”
Answer: We’re saving this revelation for the big stick-fighting three-parter.
Obviously Mallozzi was being a smart ass, lol, but it was her question had me laughing my ass off because I have ALWAYS though his ears looked elvish, lol. I'd never heard anyone else refer to him as being elf-like before. *L*

Date: 2007-09-20 10:06 am (UTC)I snagged an icon ages ago that has an arrow pointing at his elf-ears... and downloaded a Q&A video snippet of someone commenting on his elf-ears... I definitely think he's elf! ;P Genetically advanced elf or something. *lol*

Date: 2007-09-22 09:30 pm (UTC)Oh hell yeah! XD
Maybe that's why his hair is always so awesome, it must be his elvish magical powers!
*rofl* I think you may be onto something! Ooh, I wonder what other elvish powers he might have... aside the seductive powers... and the tendency to make fangirls drool... and the power to make golf sexy... *grins*
Love your icon by the way. ;)
Hehe! Aw, thank you! :D

Date: 2007-09-23 12:10 am (UTC)Yes, he does make golf sexy... I think it's the way his shirt pops up just a little bit and it peek-a-boo's his stomach that makes it sexy. *nods* *drools*

Date: 2007-09-24 11:03 pm (UTC)*lmao* so true!!! XD

Date: 2007-09-20 11:18 am (UTC)Man, that sucks. My harddrive was a month out of warranty when it died. Nothing to be done. Still, I felt a little better when I went out and replaced it with a better one, but I'd still have preferred to spend money on something else.
As for retail therapy, I agree with the poster who said not to have any regrets. I deem all my purchases 'necessary' and shrug while figuring that some months are just more expensive than others.

Date: 2007-09-21 10:23 am (UTC)And yes, I agree that retail therapy is necessary. What fun would life be if you didn't occasionally buy stuff just because you want it!?

Date: 2007-09-21 07:19 am (UTC)ya know, sometimes its just good to spend a little extra money on yourself and others =) bills are such a pain AND cars. I just had to replace my tires last week, cost me $300 =S

These is the really, really essential stuff.
Pay bills is SO overestimated...
