Christmas Wishlist 2007

- Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
- If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (it'll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.
Step Two
- Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.
You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.
1) Magnets!! Those of you on my friendslist might have scene this picture of my fridge last week. I'm trying to completely cover it in magnets! If you have any magnets you don't want/need, I'd love them! I'd also love a magnet from your home town/city/country, and I'll happily send you a magnet (or something else) from Adelaide or Australia in return!! :)
2) Music mixes. I'd particularly like to see some more SGA fanmixes, but I'd also be very happy with any other music mix, even if you've just chucked together your favourite songs!
3) Photos from your life. I'd love to see a photo looking out from your front door, a photo of your computer, a photo of where you usually watch TV, and a photo of yourself (or if you don't want to share a photo of yourself, then a photo of the actor or actress who looks a little like you!). Then I canstalk you know a little more about you whilst I'm reading your entries!
4) SGA Fan Vids. I'd love to see some more fan vids, especially something fun and action packed to a song that I love! I'd love to see a Sheppard vid to Learn to Fly by the Foo Fighters. I also think that Oh My God by the Kaiser Chiefs, or Here it Goes Again by Ok Go could make fun vids.
5) SGA art, specifically drawings, comics, doodles, paintings etc.
6) Sexy guy pic spam, because there can never be too many pretty pictures of pretty men!!
7) For more people to play Scrabulous on Faceboook with me! Yes, I know, Facebook is a stupid invention, and livejournal is far better, but this is a fun game! If you'd like to find me, let me know and I'll link you! :)
8) For my icon muse to return. I've had no talent lately, and it makes me sad.
9) For everyone to have a lovely Christmas!
