Do you have any major ships/OTPs in any of your fandoms. I think I sorta assumed you were a McKay/Sheppard person, but thinking about it now I can't see any evidence, so yep curious.

That's exactly what this thread is for!

I usually have a LOT of OTPs - In Atlantis, I basically think that almost any and all of them are doing it!

My favourite is McKay/Sheppard - I think that the subtext there is so obvious that it's basically text - but I also really like the idea of those two as just "best buddies".

McKay is my "little black dress" of Atlantis - he goes with anything! I can see McKay/Zelenka, McKay/Beckett, McKay/Lorne, McKay/Ronon, and possibly McKay/Weir (I'll read basically anything with McKay!).

Lorne and anyone also works for me.

I can see Sheppard with McKay (obviously), Lorne or Ronon... but I think that McKay needs to be there too for the other pairings to work for me. McKay/Sheppard/Zelenka, McKay/Sheppard/Ronon or McKay/Sheppard/Beckett is hot. McKay/Sheppard/Lorne is incredibly hot. I can even see McKay/Sheppard/Weir.

I don't like Sheppard/Weir --- I think that Weir is in love with Sheppard, but I don't think he feels the same way. I could see drunken sex between them, or 'regret-it-afterwards' sex, but not a relationship. I could see Sheppard/Teyla before Sateda, but after that conversation between them I can't see them as anything other than friends (Unless you make it a threesome with her and McKay).

Ronon and Teyla are definitely doing it, and Caldewell is into Weir, but I'm not sure whether she feels the same way.

Anyway, I could probably go on, but the point is - I have a lot of pairings in Atlantis! Since I've written so much I'll do another comment for other fandoms! :D

LOL! I'm so the same in Atlantis. Anyone/Anyone works. Except Weir. She comes off completely asexual to me. Possibly I just don't like her 'cause she's mean to poor Kav though. :)

I generally agree with you about Weir. I have read a couple of fics where she was well written and I didn't hate her, but usually I just really dislike her.

As for Kav... I have come to the conclusion that my dislike of him is unfounded... Can you recommend a fic where he's less of a complete tool?? I'm willing to give him a chance! :D

Normally the first one I'd start with would be "Casting Stones" by liketheriver on fanfiction.net, but for some reason the link doesn't want to open right now. I'll try again later, or you could search for it.

This is a lovely McKay/Sheppard friendship/preslash piece, so you should like it just for that aspect *g* but it's told from Kav POV and it's written really well. I think it helps explain a lot of why he acts like he does.

I don't actively search out fic for any other fandoms anymore, but since I'm having fun rambling, I'll still go through some of the other pairings that I have had for other fandoms.

I have come to the conclusion that I generally have one character that I like to see with almost any other...

In SG1 Daniel was my "little black dress" - I can see him with Sam, Jack, Cameron, Jonas, Janet, Vala... basically anyone! Although I quite like the idea of Sam and Jack, I don't have any interest in reading about or imagining the two of them together...

Oh, and reminds me, I like McKay/Sam too! And DH's non-SGA appearances with JF's non-SGA appearances.

Back when I was into The X-Files, I liked Mulder with basically anyone.

On Alias it was Julian Sark with almost anyone (though I have to admit that there was a time when I didn't hate the idea of Vaughn and Sydney)

The West Wing it was mostly Josh and Donna, but I could probably get 'into' Josh and a few others too!

Firefly I never really had any pairings, but if I was to think about it, it would be Mal and anyone!

See in SG1 i was completely the opposite. For years, YEARS, Daniel/Sha're was an unshakable OTP for me. Eventually, I learnt to deal with her death and (painfully) accept that Daniel may love again. But even now I'm pretty cautious about him and only read fics that are recced to me or by an author I know.

West Wing - Yep, Josh/Donna - LOVE them to bits. Very excited to finally be able to see the kiss everyone talks about *g* But yeah Josh/Sam, Josh/Toby, Toby/Sam, Sam/Will - all good. President/Leo is canon in my world so doesn't count.
