A movie quote meme

It seems like ages since I’ve updated. I haven’t been on my computer much at all for the last week or so. I had a course for work on Monday and Tuesday, and I've felt terrible since before the weekend, so I really haven’t had a chance to LJ much for a while... so if you’ve written something interesting, and I haven’t replied, chances are I haven’t seen it yet --- it’s not due to a lack of love! Anyway, last night I realised that it was hayfever that was making me fell crappy - I got some drugs for that, and now I feel great! So, onto a meme!

sg1padawan: A movie quote meme
1. Pick 25 of your favourite movies.
2. Then pick one of your favourite quotes from each movie.
3. Post the quotes in your journal.
4. Have those on your friends list guess what the movie is. NO GOOGLING!
5. Either strike out the quote once it has been correctly identified, or place the guesser's user name directly after the quote.
1. “Does Barry Manilow know that you raid his wardrobe?” The Breakfast Club - guessed by
ria_kukalaka
2. “I'll explain and I'll use small words so that you'll be sure to understand, you warthog faced buffoon.” The Princess Bride - guessed by
tipsywitch
3. “I find I'm so excited, I can barely sit still or hold a thought in my head. I think it's the excitement only a free man can feel, a free man at the start of a long journey whose conclusion is uncertain. I hope I can make it across the border. I hope to see my friend, and shake his hand. I hope the Pacific is as blue as it has been in my dreams. I hope.” The Shawshank Redemption - guessed by
natacup82
4. “It was one of those days when it's a minute away from snowing and there's this electricity in the air, you can almost hear it. And this bag was, like, dancing with me. Like a little kid begging me to play with it. For fifteen minutes. And that's the day I knew there was this entire life behind things, and... this incredibly benevolent force, that wanted me to know there was no reason to be afraid, ever. Video's a poor excuse, I know. But it helps me remember... and I need to remember... Sometimes there's so much beauty in the world I feel like I can't take it, like my heart's going to cave in.” American Beauty - guessed by
dar_jeeling
5. “Wait a minute... nice boys don't kiss like that”
“Oh, yes, they fucking do” Bridget Jones' Diary - guessed by
sg1padawan
6. “A revolution without dancing is a revolution not worth having!” V for Vendetta - guessed by
ria_kukalaka
7. “If the people we love are stolen from us, the way to have them live on is to never stop loving them. Buildings burn, people die, but real love is forever.” The Crow - guessed by
foreverseenstar
8. “Take *this* under advisement, jerkweed.” Die Hard - guessed by
ria_kukalaka
9. “...what if you could go back in time, and take all those hours of pain and darkness and replace them with something better?” Donnie Darko - guessed by
starrylizard
10. “Multipass!” The Fifth Element - guessed by
sg1padawan
11. “Every time I try to talk to someone it's "sorry this" and "forgive me that" and "I'm not worthy"...” Monty Python and the Holy Grail - guessed by
tipsywitch
12. “See you Monday. We'll be talking about Freud and why he did enough cocaine to kill a small horse.” Good Will Hunting - guessed by
ruinsofmysanity
13. “What came first, the music or the misery? People worry about kids playing with guns, or watching violent videos, that some sort of culture of violence will take them over. Nobody worries about kids listening to thousands, literally thousands of songs about heartbreak, rejection, pain, misery and loss. Did I listen to pop music because I was miserable? Or was I miserable because I listened to pop music?” High Fidelity - guessed by
strangefrontier
14. “I didn't know you could fly a plane.
Fly, yes. Land, no.” Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade - guessed by

sg1padawan
18. “Wanting people to listen, you can't just tap them on the shoulder anymore. You have to hit them with a sledgehammer, and then you'll notice you've got their strict attention”. Seven - guessed by
ria_kukalaka
19. “Neighbours bring food with death, and flowers with sickness, and little things in between. [name here] was our neighbour. He gave us two soap dolls, a broken watch and chain, a knife, and our lives.”
20. “Go back to your room. Play with your toys and your costumes. Forget about the baby.” Labyrinth - guessed by
sg1padawan

madslasher
22. “We can't be dead. We have cable” Nothing - guessed by
ria_kukalaka
23. “I wasn't like every other kid, you know, who dreams about being an astronaut, I was always more interested in what bark was made out of on a tree. Richard Gere's a real hero of mine. Sting. Sting would be another person who's a hero. The music he's created over the years, I don't really listen to it, but the fact that he's making it, I respect that. I care desperately about what I do. Do I know what product I'm selling? No. Do I know what I'm doing today? No. But I'm here, and I'm gonna give it my best shot.” Zoolander - guessed by
strangefrontier
24. “That golden sceptre is just an old hunk of wood.”
