I saw the Foos Fighters tonight, and there are no words to describe the amazing, awesome, brilliant, perfect show that they put on. Seriously, it was just ... *insert many descriptive words that mean DAMN GOOD!* I'm not at all coherent right now, so I'll just post a photo. (I had the BEST SPOT EVER, and I ADORE my new camera!)

Dave Grohl, my rock star boyfriend.

Date: 2008-04-25 01:18 am (UTC)I think our stage must have been similar to what you described --- there was a catwalk sort of thing leading down to another stage at about the middle of the floor (we had standing area on the floor). That stage lowered from the ceiling, and they played about a third of their set from there (mostly their acoustic stuff). We were directly in the middle, RIGHT in front of the microphone that Dave used from the middle stage. We only had two (fairly short) girls in front of us, so it was a direct view to Dave himself! And my god he's hot from so close! He's actually very pretty (when he doesn't have hair everywhere - although I do love his hair!).
Over here, they're usually okay with compact cameras, but they won't let you in with massive zooms.
I have almost completely lost my voice from too much screaming and cheering, but it was SO worth it!

MORE PICS!!!!

Date: 2008-04-27 01:46 pm (UTC)I've uploaded some of my photos to flickr. You can see them here (http://www.flickr.com/photos/26054339@N07/sets/72157604758114369/). I've massively reduced the size, but I'm happy to send you larger versions if you like! I hope that link works --- I've only just started using Flickr, so I'm not really sure what I'm doing.
(By the way, I still don't have my voice back!)
