The cough syrup knocked me out so hard that I slept 10 hours last night, and 4 hours this afternoon. I think that's all it's for: keeps you in a near comatose state and you won't be awake enough to realize you're still sick.

External HDs are shiny. I kept collecting more and more until finally I got a 1TB one last year. I thought that would solve all my problems of never knowing which drive has what on it (and it has, for the most part) but I've already passed the half way mark on filling it so I don't know how long it'll continue to do that :S

I have a few external HDs now too. I'm hoping that it'll take me a while before I completely fill the 1TB one! I'm always surprised by how quickly they fill up!!

That wasn't me, I was quoting someone on my flist, but I can totally relate. I went most of my life without ever taking any cough medicine but last year I had an allergic reaction to some sort of bug bite (we were hypothesizing that it was actually a spider but that was just because it was a weird reaction, we have no proof) so was put on these Benadryl pills that left me unconscious for at least 9 hours at a time. It really screwed up my sleeping schedule, because the first time I took one was during the afternoon/early evening and I was down for the count by about 6pm. :S

I'm hoping that it'll take me a while before I completely fill the 1TB one! I'm always surprised by how quickly they fill up!!
*nods* I know my problem is that since I know I have so much space, I just keep everything, even if I don't need it just because I can, then in no time at all I'm running out of space :S
