Procrastination: the grave in which opportunity is buried.

I've recently found some great links for times when you feel like procrastinating. I take no responsibility for loss for productivity, but I just have to share them here:

+ My Mini City is pretty awesome. You create a city, and then it grows every time someone clicks on the link! Please visit my city and help it grow!

+ Have you guys heard of set? It's a card game in which you have to find sets of cards that have certain matching or non-matching features. You can play it here: (Set Daily Puzzle). You can also play it at the New York Times here.

+ Shot is pretty addictive. It's a very simple puzzle game where you have to knock balls off a table by colliding them. The aim is to only have one left.

+ You can play an airport security game. You have to decide whether or not to let people past!

+ Or this game where you're a little bunny and you have to jump from bell to bell without falling.

+ You can find out how many of the 100 most common English words you know. I got over 50%.

+ I also had fun playing at Google Trends. This allows you to search multiple items to reveal the trends in the search history of those items. For example, this picture shows that (in most place) more people search with Joe Flanigan than with David Hewlett. Of course, in Canada, David is slightly ahead!

And then I came across this blog: Time for procrastination.... I'll never be productive again!

That's some serious procrastination. I was about to go to bed but ended up fiddling with these games for 45 minutes, lol.

I love silly little games like those - they're such good time wasters (but terrible when you want to get stuff done!)

Oh damn, now you've gone and done it. Now I've got more fun stuff to do while procrastinating and ignoring my Uni.assignments. ;P

Ah, who am I kidding. Thanks for the supply for new things to do when I can't be bothered to do what I'm supposed to. :D

Look at that, Sweden's quite fond of Joe Flanigan! :D Then again, I can't say that I'm all that surprised since shows he's been in have been aired here more than stuff David Hewlett's been in. That and the fact that Joe is hot. :D

Hee, sorry! I love sharing procrastination tasks, but always feel slightly bad that I'm making others just as unproductive as me!

*nods* Joe is very hot!

Oh no. No no no no. Rodney is in charge of his own city? We ALL know how well that worked out the last time! ;) You know, I have to not look at this during lunch at work or else Sheppard will get his own town ;)

I almost made my own city but then thought, gads, have enough with twitter and LJ and Yahoo already ;)

I love Set. I had no idea you could play it online though. Sweet.
