A poll on driving etiquette and six degrees of separation

This has arisen from a conversation with a friend, and I'm just interested in what other people do.

I also have a challenge for you. I love the Six Degrees of Separation --- the idea is that any actor can be linked to any other actor in less than 6 moves (a 'move' is a movie or TV show that they starred in together). I believe that I can link David Hewlett to any other actor - so, name an actor, and I'll see if I can do it! Just in case I'm not making sense, here's an example of what I mean:

David Hewlett to Joe Flanigan
David Hewlett starred in "Where The Heart is" with Crispin Glover
Crispin Glover starred in "What's Eating Gilbert Grape" with Juliette Lewis

Yep - the hello wave is very similar to the 'I don't actually know you but I'm just saying hi anyway' acknowledgment. I always thought that it was pretty common here in Australia, but I was talking to a computer programmer the other day and he had no idea what I was talking about. I guess he wasn't alone in having no idea!
