Not grabbing any but I just wanted to compliment you on the lovely colouring technique. Is it me or you've really improved since you started? I like your cropping, use of textures and and all the scenes you selected.

:snicker: You should see some of my icons!!! I still keep them around to remind me of improvements I've made. But I'm rather stagnant right now. I love making headers but anything smaller is too hard and I struggle with cropping a lot!!!

I swear you make the best McKay icons. I love the everything about #6 from the colouring to the crop to the choice of pose. Just amazing. Also to prove I can appreciate non Rodney things, #4 Wow it's beautiful.

I have to know...
Do you just take a million caps of an ep and then sort through and find your icon crops or when you cap do you already know what you are going to use?
Inquiring minds want to know.

Now I feel the urge to start capping and icon-ing. I just got my dvds thursday I have watched Echoes and Tao of Rodney... twice. ;)

I like the glowy blues and greens you're using, especially in the first dozen or so. #6 & 8 are adorable. Love the pic choices and cropping, and the boys are adorable in #22. Not too fond of the Sheppard ones this time around, as his face tends to be a little too washed out for my tastes.

Are there any tutorials you've found helpful, or do you just muck around until you find a technique that you like?
