I like the glowy blues and greens you're using, especially in the first dozen or so. #6 & 8 are adorable. Love the pic choices and cropping, and the boys are adorable in #22. Not too fond of the Sheppard ones this time around, as his face tends to be a little too washed out for my tastes.

Are there any tutorials you've found helpful, or do you just muck around until you find a technique that you like?

I did find a couple of good tutorials when making these. I used the textures in the third icon in this tutorial page (http://community.livejournal.com/zocat_icons/10870.html) for some of them (I find that you always have to change things quite a lot for different screencaps, so its not followed exactly).
